This equipment causes a known electrical fault in a high voltage system test. The purpose is to be able to validate the testing bench by forcing a known failure value and making sure the test result is correct. The HV Validator is meant to be used in a DC Withstand test. The device is connected to the testing connection points of the test bench as if it was the HV connector. After the testing voltage is selected the bench test is launched.

• The voltage test range of the HV Validator is from 0Vdc to 5.75kVdc and can be adjusted in 250V steps

• The test bench will trigger the DC withstand voltage fault at selected voltage level (+/- 10%)

• It allows to test the test benches by making sure that it triggers faults at the correct (known) level.
