Job Summary:
Emdep is an automotive manufacturing and software company since 1982 and has recognized as a worldwide supplier for assembly testing equipment and specific software for automotive wiring harness manufacturers.
We are seeking an experienced and talented Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Power BI Developer, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights through the development of intuitive dashboards and reports. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, you will gather requirements, design data models, and ensure the optimal performance of Power BI solutions.
Minimum Studies:
- B.E. / B.Tech. , MCA or MSC or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain visually appealing and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that meet the specific needs of our business stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop robust data models and implement efficient ETL processes to integrate data from diverse sources into Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Continuously optimize the performance of Power BI solutions, including query response times and data refresh schedules, to deliver optimal user experiences.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues, debug errors, and provide timely technical support to ensure the reliability and stability of Power BI solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends, and leverage this knowledge to enhance our BI capabilities.
- Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to empower end-users to effectively utilize Power BI reports and dashboards for data-driven decision-making.
- Identify and define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with Clear Objectives.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, including advanced knowledge of Power Query, DAX, and M query language.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, relational databases, and dimensional modeling techniques.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing ETL processes using tools such as SQL.
- In-depth knowledge of data visualization best practices, including effective chart types, layouts, and interactive features.
- Familiarity with advanced Power BI features, such as Power BI Service, Power BI Embedded, and Power BI Premium, and their respective functionalities.
- Knowledge of Power BI application security layer models.
- Proven track record of success in a Power BI Developer or similar role, with demonstrable experience in delivering high-quality BI solutions.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power BI Developer Associate, would be advantageous.
- Expertise in publishing reports and dashboards using Power BI Service.
