In recent years the open terminal issue has increased amongst our end customers. At EMDEP we have identified this gap and developed an equipment capable of identifying these anomalies, particularly when considering very critical connectors that apply, for example, to medical and safety relevant equipment.

An open terminal can cause serious issues in the equipment’s operation. EMDEP has developed a compact module that measures the distance between both contact surfaces of the interfacing terminal and ensures that it meets the customer’s specifications. This module can be integrated in a standard table or stand-alone cabinet.
